Myotherapy: Evidence-Based Assessment and Treatment
Myotherapy is an evidence-based approach to the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injury and dysfunction. Remedial Massage: Manual Therapy for Musculoskeletal Pain
Remedial massage is a manual therapy that diagnoses and treats musculoskeletal pain. Treatments typically involve deep tissue massage, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy, which stimulate increased blood flow to the muscle, helping to repair damaged tissue and increase range of motion.
Sports Massage: Enhancing Athletic Performance
The primary objective of sports massage is to help athletes prepare for, participate in, and recover from sporting events. By improving the condition of soft tissues and minimizing the risk of injury, sports massage treatments aid in 'flushing' out the muscles, removing lactic acid and other delayed onset muscle soreness caused by exercise.
