At Truffleduck, we've always been passionate about creating deliciously different food and celebration experiences. Our journey began in 1988 when we opened a small cafe in James Street, central Geelong. We were ahead of our time, and our innovative approach drove opportunities that others couldn't see. We introduced breakfast and bagels to Geelong, and our bagels were handmade on-site using an authentic Jewish recipe. Our reputation for superb food, premium event planning, and attention to detail grew rapidly, and we soon became known for creating unforgettable events.

We started by planning and creating delicious food experiences at other venues and developed an excellent reputation for our cuisine. Weddings, parties, and corporate events in Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula, Surf Coast, and beyond became our specialty. When a long-term lease at Balmoral arose, it seemed a natural progression to relocate and continue our journey. We left James Street and moved to Fyansford in 1995, providing more room, flexibility, and opportunities for growth.

Demand continued to drive us, and by 2009, we knew we needed a better space and more versatility. We relocated to Geelong for 12 months while undertaking extensive renovations at Balmoral to create a state-of-the-art event space. In 2013, we completed our vision of a premier event space, where we could deliver our unique culinary experiences to our clients.

Venues: Our Balmoral location offers a picturesque setting for events, while our in-house event space can accommodate up to 200 guests. We also partner with other venues to provide a range of options for our clients.

Food Stations: Our street food-inspired stations offer a unique and interactive way to enjoy food at events. We can create stations that serve a range of cuisines, from Mexican to Greek to French.

Beverages: We offer a range of beverage options to complement our culinary creations, including wine, beer, and signature cocktails.

Sweet Treats: We provide a variety of sweet treats, from petit fours to elaborate dessert buffets, to satisfy any sweet tooth.
