Our motel is located at 56 Roderick Street, Moffat Beach, a stone's throw away from the pristine beaches, surf breaks, parks, cafes, art galleries, and restaurants that the area is famous for. We offer affordable beachside accommodation with genuine customer service, reasonable rates for a one-night stay or longer, and a range of facilities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
Our motel is pet-friendly, with a four-minute walk from Caloundra's only doggy beach. We welcome all breeds of dogs, but please note that we have reasonable conditions and a small cleaning fee applies (this fee does not apply to verified service animals). We currently only take poodles and non-shedding and hypoallergenic breeds. Our motel is a safe and quiet position away from the noisy highway, and we have courtesy buses that will pick you up and drop you off at Caloundra RSL and local Surf Clubs. We are a 12-room motel that books out quickly, especially on weekends, so please contact us as soon as possible with your accommodation enquiries.
Our Services
At Caloundra Motel, we pride ourselves on our great service and facilities. Each room is equipped with large flat-screen wall-mounted digital TV, free WiFi unlimited internet (2 devices max per/room), air-conditioning, a clean, all-day sunbathed swimming pool, tea/coffee making facilities with a small fridge, ground level or upper level rooms, microwaves in rooms (toaster, crockery, utensils upon request for no charge), hairdryers & irons, smoking areas provided (all rooms are non-smoking), laundry off-site, covered car park for each room, barbecue area located on-site for guest use only, and complimentary toiletries.
We welcome families to our motel and have a range of rooms to accommodate different family sizes. We reserve the right to check the validity of the card 24 hours before check-in. If the card is not chargeable and you cannot be contacted by phone or email, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation when the free cancellation time ends. Please insure that funds are available, and payment will be processed morning of reservation date (unless alternative arrangements have been made, prior).
Our motel is close to the Sunshine Coast University Hospitals (Public & Private), which are only 7km/10 minutes drive from our location. If you are attending a sports event held at Sunshine Coast Stadium, we are only 8km/12 minutes drive from the Moffat Beach Motel Caloundra front driveway. The Caloundra Events Centre is also very close to our venue, with dance eisteddfods, theatre, musicals, and entertaining shows only 2km/under 2klms from here. Please note that we are not a 'party' motel and that inconsiderate, drunken, noisy, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated in our family business.

Our double rooms are perfect for couples or solo travellers and feature a comfortable double bed, LCD TV, split system Air Conditioner, and tea/coffee making facilities. Our queen rooms are larger and can accommodate up to two guests, with a comfortable queen bed, LCD TV, split system Air Conditioner, and tea/coffee making facilities.
Our family rooms are designed to accommodate families of different sizes, with a range of bedding configurations available. Our small family rooms can accommodate up to four guests, with a comfortable queen bed and two single beds in bunks, LCD TV, split system Air Conditioner, and tea/coffee making facilities. Our large family rooms can accommodate up to five guests, with a comfortable king bed, double bed, and single bed, LCD TV, split system Air Conditioner, and tea/coffee making facilities.
