Our History
The Roebuck Bay Hotel was established in 1890 by E.W. Streeter, one of the first buildings in Broome when it was just a tiny settlement town. Today, we're proud to continue the tradition of entertaining locals and tourists alike, with our passion for good food, great drinks, and an unforgettable atmosphere. Our unique location in the heart of Broome gives you access to the best of the town, with luxury pearl shops, art galleries, restaurants, boutiques, book stores, and even the world's oldest open air picture house, Sun Cinema, just a stroll away from your doorstep.
