Poor Customer Service and Overpriced Quotes
A significant number of customers have expressed dissatisfaction with A.N.T. Renovations, particularly regarding their insurance claims and the renovation services provided. These customers have experienced issues such as inflated quotes, lack of professionalism, and poor communication.
Inflated Quotes and Lack of Professionalism
Author Tim Potter rated the company with one star, stating that A.N.T. Renovations provided a quote that was $110,000 more than another quote and $150,000 more than the calculated rebuild cost. He believes they may be inflating quotes to persuade insurance customers to accept a payout.
Ehab Mikhail, another customer, also rated the company with one star, describing the experience as terrible. A builder named Geoff assessed the damages and lied about the gutters being blocked, despite not checking. He had no idea how to fix the maintenance issues and claimed that Ehab knew about the issue prior to the assessment, which was not true.
Lack of Urgency and Poor Communication
Ricky Goestiawan had a similar experience, rating the company with one star. After making an insurance claim with QBE, an A.N.T. rep visited the site and prepared a quote for cabinets and a rangehood. The process of getting a quote for an upgraded rangehood was tedious, and the response was unhelpful. After multiple follow-ups, a cabinet maker attended the site to measure, only to find that the original quote was not compliant and required resubmission to QBE for approval. Despite a three-month lead time, Ricky was left without a rangehood over Christmas due to the lack of communication and sense of urgency from A.N.T. Renovations.
