Renewal of Vows

Legal Requirements

Before we discuss the intricacies of legal requirements, please note that under the Marriage Act 1961, couples intending to get married must lodge a Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) with the celebrant at least one month prior to the ceremony. This notice must be signed by both parties, unless one party is overseas or interstate, in which case only one party needs to sign.

Unity Candle Ceremony

In a unity candle ceremony, two candles are lit simultaneously, symbolizing the union of the two individuals. The unifying of the two candles into one represents the union of the couple. This ceremony is a beautiful and meaningful way to acknowledge the love and commitment of the couple.

Sand Ceremony
