We offer two beautifully appointed cottages, each with its own unique charm and character. The Surgeon's Cottage, built in 1845, provides luxurious accommodation for up to 4 guests in two bedrooms, while the Loft Cottage, situated in the garden behind the Surgeon's Cottage, offers a quaint and charming retreat for up to 4 guests in two bedrooms.
Both cottages are fully equipped with modern conveniences, including air-conditioning, log fireplaces, and luxurious bathrooms. Our guests can enjoy the beautifully maintained gardens, gas barbecue facilities, and stunning views of the Hunter River and surrounding countryside.
We cater to a range of guests, from couples and families to bridal parties and groups, offering a unique and relaxing retreat that is perfect for any occasion. Our cottages are also dog-friendly, and we can accommodate small dogs by prior arrangement.

Location and Ambience
Reviews were mixed when it came to the location and ambience of the accommodation. Some reviewers found the location to be perfect, with one reviewer stating it was a "lovely way to visit Morpeth". Another reviewer praised the location, saying it was in a "lovely town". However, one reviewer was not impressed, stating that the outdoor area was "overrun with garden and dirt and leaves" and the indoor area was "old with cracks in the walls and paint peeling and paint bubbling on walls".
