Brain & Language Connections

Brain & Language Connections (BLC) is a Speech Pathology private practice passionate about helping children, adolescents, and young adults (from ages 9 to 21 years) reach their full potential. We have extensive experience in providing quality services to help speech, language, social communication, reading, writing, spelling, processing, attention, and memory difficulties. Our team, led by certified practicing speech pathologist Anna Evans, is committed to using the most up-to-date tools for the purpose of assessment, and offer therapy programs where results are achieved through identifying and treating the underlying causes of your child's behavior, rather than only treating the symptoms.

Our Services

At Brain & Language Connections, we offer a range of services designed to help children and adolescents overcome challenges related to language, reading, writing, and social communication. Our services include comprehensive assessments, tailored therapy programs, and rebates through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Assessments

Our assessments are designed to thoroughly evaluate your child's strengths and weaknesses, determining the root cause of their behaviors, rather than just identifying symptoms. We use an extensive range of the most up-to-date assessment tools to ensure that our therapy programs are tailored to each child's individual needs.

Therapy

Our therapy programs are designed to deliver the latest, most effective therapy techniques. Individual sessions are available both during and after school and are offered for the duration of 50 minutes. During a typical therapy session, your child will be engaged in activities that address the goals identified in the assessment. Treatment plans with clear, identifiable goals are developed based on each child's individual strengths, weaknesses, and needs.

Rebates

We accept National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) referrals, allowing eligible participants to access our services with ease.

Our Team

Anna Evans, the owner and certified practicing speech pathologist at Brain & Language Connections, holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) Honours and is a Member of Speech Pathology Australia. With over 30 years of experience, Anna is passionate about combining cognitive therapy with more traditional language and literacy interventions to achieve the best outcomes for her clients.
