Clogs is a renowned restaurant and takeaway store located in the heart of Bendigo, offering a wide range of homestyle Italian cuisine and local and international wines, craft beers, classic and modern cocktails. Established in 1974 by three Dutch brothers, Clogs has a rich history and is known for being the first free home delivery service in Australia.
Clogs has undergone several transformations over the years, from a pizza castle to Bendigo's first a la carte restaurant. However, one thing remains constant - the van Haandel family's ownership and commitment to using the same dough recipe from the beginning. Clogs is still going strong 45+ years later, serving most of the original pizzas on the menu. The youngest son, Michael, has now taken over the operations, and in 2017, the Clogs building underwent a bold transformation, with a bright, energetic mint green exterior and a unique and contemporary retro chic interior design.
The Space
The terrazzo floors, hardwood features, and Italian leather banquettes create a comfortable, fun, and slightly Italian feel at Clogs. Don't be fooled by the name; Clogs has a diverse yet fun wine list, delicious cocktails, and a changing selection of craft beer and cider to complement a modern Australian/Italian influenced gastro delight.
Dine In
Clogs has become equally known for pastas, salads, and Italian-inspired main meals and desserts. All hand-cooked to order by our experienced kitchen staff for dine-in or takeaway. Clogs has an extensive wine list, the hottest drinks, and cocktails, and a changing selection of craft beer and cider. We're open seven days a week, from 5 pm. Book online or call to book, or simply turn up, and we will do our best to look after you.
Takeaway & Delivery
Don't feel like eating out? Order online, phone through an order for delivery or come in and pick it up! Clogs offers delivery to Zone 2 + customers.
