At Eros Kafe, we are passionate about serving traditional and modern Greek cuisine in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our story began with our founder, who grew up surrounded by food and family traditions. As a young man, he would help his father at his stall on Rundle Street, where he developed a love for fine foods and the art of sharing meals with family and friends.
Our Journey
Our founder's passion for food was inspired by his mother, who was an exceptional cook and entrepreneur. She owned a fruit, vegetable, and continental store in the western suburbs, where she showcased her culinary skills. He would often spend hours in the kitchen, watching and learning from her. His love for food and sharing meals with loved ones drove him to open his first Greek Kafe, Estia, in 1984. After many successful years, he decided to expand, and in 1995, he opened Eros Ouzeri and Eros Kafe, paying tribute to the God of Love and the Greek gods.
