Welcome to Bardon Rainworth Medical Centre, a comprehensive medical centre located in the heart of Brisbane. We are a well-equipped practice with a team of 9 experienced doctors and 5 skilled nurses, dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services to our patients. Our doctors have a range of skills and interests, covering the full spectrum of general practice presentations.

Our medical centre is situated in the suburb of Bardon, just 5 kilometres west of the Brisbane CBD. We service the surrounding suburbs of Rainworth, Bardon, Rosalie, Auchenflower, Toowong, Paddington, Milton, Taringa, and Ashgrove. Our state-of-the-art facility, renovated in 2014, features 6 consultation rooms and 2 treatment rooms, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.

We are committed to providing a comprehensive range of medical services, including minor surgery, skin checks and excisions, immunisations, health assessments, medical examinations, paediatric care, aged care, women's and men's health, musculoskeletal medicine, wound care, blood collection, and home and nursing home visits. Our services are available six days a week, with after-hours consultations also available.

Our team takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care, and we are proud to be accredited by QPA (Quality Practice Accreditation), which conducts a rigorous quality assurance process every three years. We have consistently exceeded the high standards set by the RACGP, and our assessors have praised our practice for providing a service that "not only meets the high standards set by the RACGP, but in many ways exceeds it."

Our medical centre has a long history, dating back to the 1970s when it was established by Dr John Neros. Dr Thompson purchased the practice from Dr Farook Ameer in June 2006, and we have been serving the community ever since.

We understand that seeking medical attention can be stressful, and we strive to make our patients feel comfortable and at ease. Our aim is to provide same-day appointments where possible, and our friendly team is always available to help with any questions or concerns you may have.
