We deliver the highest quality workmanship
At Port Phillip Psychology, we are a warm and friendly counselling practice located in Melbourne's Bayside suburbs of St Kilda, Brighton, and Chelsea. Established over 15 years ago, our team of Psychologists, Mental Health Social Workers, and Counsellors have an average of over 10 years of practice experience. We are passionate about what we do, and our extensive experience has equipped us to help adults, couples, and children overcome their problems.
Our Services
Our counsellors have a diverse range of skills, and our practice can assist with most issues. In addition to an average of 6 years of University training, our therapists have specialized training in either children, relationships, or adults' issues such as anxiety and depression. Our friendly reception team will help match you to the best counsellor for your needs and offer daytime, evening, and Saturday appointments or video counselling.
We provide counselling services for children, adults, and couples. For children, we help with behaviour issues, ASD, ADHD, bullying, anxiety, phobias, and depression. We also help children adjust to separation and divorce, moving between houses, and coping with parental conflict and court processes.
For adults, we help with anxiety, depression, bullying, pregnancy, parenting, relationships, grief, sexual addictions, workplace issues, and adjusting to change. Our counsellors have a wide range of skills, and we match you to the person most skilled to help you change.
For couples, we help with frequent disagreements, differences in values, suspicion or evidence of infidelity, and financial pressures. All of our highly skilled relationship counsellors have over 20 years of experience and attend regular training to ensure they are equipped in the most effective techniques for change.
Fees and Rebates
We will discuss the costs of counselling during your initial call. Fees vary across the team, level of experience, and their profession. Some of our counsellors offer concession rates for Health Care Card holders (across limited days and times). There is more detail about our fees in our FAQ section. Payment is required on the day of your appointment, and we process Medicare and Private Health rebates on the spot.
Blog
Our therapists address topical issues in our blog. Recent posts have been on infidelity, relationships, loneliness, and COVID-19. Grab a coffee, tea, chai, water, or something stronger and have a read!
