We are led by Gayle Dean, a passionate and experienced Civil Marriage Celebrant who has been making wedding days memorable for over a decade. Based in Melbourne, but with a wealth of experience from her time in Far North Queensland, Gayle is honoured to share in the joy of your special day, be it an intimate elopement or a grand celebration.

At Weddings by Request, we understand that your wedding day should be one of the happiest and most memorable days of your lives. We are committed to ensuring that your day is relaxed and stress-free, so you can enjoy every precious moment. With a reputation as one of the more popular and sought-after celebrants, we pride ourselves on our ability to create beautiful ceremonies that reflect the unique love stories of each couple.

Our Services

Included in our service is an obligation-free first meeting, where you can get to know Gayle and discuss your vision for your special day. We offer unlimited phone and email consultations, ensuring that you are completely satisfied with every aspect of your ceremony. A pre-ceremony meeting and rehearsal is also available if required.

We take care of all legal documentation, applying on your behalf to the Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages for your Official Certificate of Marriage. For overseas couples, we can also apply for an Apostille Stamp to the Department of Immigration.

After your ceremony, you will receive a beautifully printed Presentation Marriage Certificate and a Copy of your Ceremony on embossed paper, tied with a ribbon for your keepsake. We also provide an extensive Resource Folder to assist you with your selection of Wedding Vows, Symbolic Ceremonies & Readings. A Bride & Groom Questionnaire is used to create a personalised ceremony specifically for you, and a Bride & Groom Checklist, and Wedding Song List are also provided.

On the day of your wedding, we provide a beautifully decorated Table & 2 white chairs for signing of the Register & Certificates of Marriage. A Mother of Pearl Ring, Large Lantern for Candle lighting Ceremonies, P.A. System and guests microphone are also included.
