Overview of Accommodation
The accommodation is an old building, but well-maintained with clean rooms and great views of the Brisbane river. It is convenient for hospital visits and has easy access to transport, ferries, and bike paths.
Cleanliness and Maintenance Issues
However, some guests experienced unsanitary conditions, including glass shards on beds, used band-aids on blankets, and unknown substances on bedding. The cleanliness of the rooms was appalling, with stained sheets, discoloured couches, and walls that looked like they had never been cleaned. Some guests had to request re-cleaning of their rooms, and management was unhelpful in addressing these issues.
Safety Concerns
One guest experienced a safety risk due to a faulty door lock that got stuck, and another guest mentioned that the lifts were old and grand. There were also concerns about the maintenance of the building, with poor lighting facilities and safety risks in case of fire.
Other Issues
Some guests experienced issues with the car park, including difficulty accessing the lower car park and permanent occupants parking across multiple spaces. There were also issues with the cutlery and cups needing to be cleaned before use, and graffiti in the rooms.

On the other hand, some guests appreciated the friendly staff, the convenience of the location, and the fully self-contained apartments with river views.
