Our Story
Located in the heart of Hobart, our restaurant is housed in a stunning sandstone Georgian warehouse that dates back to the 1830s. This historic building has been beautifully restored, maintaining its original charm while providing a modern and comfortable setting for our guests. Our team, led by Chef Nicholas Garth, is dedicated to sourcing only the freshest and highest-quality ingredients, often from local suppliers, to craft dishes that are both innovative and respectful of Tasmania's rich culinary heritage.

Rockwall at the Market
In June 2023, we launched Rockwall at the Market, a new venture that brings our exceptional quality to Saturday's Salamanca Market. Here, you can indulge in our signature dishes, including our famous egg and bacon roll, made with paddock-raised, free-range Tasmanian oak-smoked bacon, local free-range eggs, and freshly baked brioche. We're thrilled to be a part of this vibrant market, where you can experience the same high standards and passion for local produce that we're known for at our restaurant.
