Our Story
We opened our first salon back in 1999, with the goal of revolutionizing the barbershop landscape. We wanted to create a place that was customer-focused, where men could take the time to relax and be pampered by a skilled barber who took their trade seriously and knew their way around a man's head. And so, Grand Royal was born. Named after the record label and magazine of our favorite band, The Beastie Boys, we've always been interested in popular culture. We love 90s music, Bay Rum, and vintage barber chairs - the ones in our salons date back to the 1930s.

Meet Our Founders
Meet Steve Salecich, the humble founder of Grand Royal Barbers. Steve has over 25 years of experience in the industry, and has worked with some of the best barbers in the business. He's a firm believer in education, and attributes his success to his continued learning and passing on his knowledge to the next generation. And meet Maria Dillon, our beard shaper to the Beefeaters. Maria has a wealth of experience, having worked in some of the top barbershops in London, and has mastered the art of beard-shaping.
